Air conditioning system - Italian Navy
Calpeda pump technology is now at the service of the Italian Navy. Several pumps have been supplied to Fincantieri, the shipbuilder of the modern and extremely fast Saettia class ships, used by the Italian Coast Guard. These pumps are used for the fluids in the air-conditioning system (both heating and cooling). This type of application requires maximum reliability from every system component, and it is for this reason that our pumps were selected, as they are able to guarantee optimum running for prolonged periods, and have been used already with great success in other applications in the maritime sector.
Air conditioning system - House of Representatives
Calpeda pumps were selected for the new air-conditioning system in the chamber of the Italian House of Representatives in Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome.
This system is extremely sophisticated, given the function it must perform and, above all, the very special context, where silent operation and reliability are of the utmost importance.
Each pump is individually controlled by an inverter, in order to satisfy the various requirements of the heating system, both in terms of cooling and heating.
