This page describes how the site is managed in relation to the processing of the personal data of users who visit it.

This Privacy Policy is given pursuant to art. 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 to those interacting with the web services of the company.

This privacy policy applies only to this site and not to any third-party websites that users may link to from our site.

The policy identifies certain minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data, and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of their web connection.

THE DATA CONTROLLER

Data of identified or identifiable persons may be processed as a result of accessing this site.

The “data controller” is Calpeda S.p.A., in the person of its legal representative pro tempore.

LOCATION OF DATA PROCESSING

Processing relating to the web services of this site is mainly done at the company’s registered office, by in-house authorised staff, or by external persons tasked with occasional maintenance.

No data deriving from the web service are disseminated.

Personal data provided by users submitting a request for information (bulletins, CD-ROMs, catalogues, price lists, answers to queries, documents, etc.) are used exclusively for the purpose of providing the service or performance requested.

Any marketing activities are only carried out after obtaining the appropriate consent of the data subject.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures that operate this website collect certain personal data whose transmission is inherent in the use of Internet communication protocols in the course of their normal operation.

Such information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects but its nature is such that it might allow user identification when processed and associated with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computer environment.

These data are used to obtain aggregate or anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of possible computer crimes against the site.

Data provided voluntarily by users

Optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, and of any other personal data included in the message.

Detailed and comprehensive privacy policies will be reported and displayed from time to time in the pages of the site dedicated to specific services available on request.

HOW COOKIES ARE USED

With regard to the way cookies are used, please refer to the additional and specific “detailed privacy policy” published on this site, which supplements and completes this document.

However, we would like to specify, here too, that any “profiling cookies” are only used after obtaining the specific consent of the user, as required by the regulations in force.

PROVIDING DATA IS OPTIONAL

Except as specified for browsing data, users may choose to provide or not provide personal data.
Failure to provide such data may prevent a user from obtaining the requested service or performance.

PROCESSING METHOD

Personal data are processed only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific security measures are adopted to prevent loss of data, unlawful or improper use or unauthorised access.

TRANSFER TO THIRD-PARTY COUNTRIES

Any transfer of personal data to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organisation will take place on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Commission or, in the case of the transfers referred to in articles 46, 47 or 49, second paragraph, of the European Regulation, on the basis of appropriate safeguards.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have at any time the right to request access to and rectification of personal data, their erasure, restriction of processing, the right to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability; they also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller or to the Data Protection Officer, Winger S.r.l., with office located in Reggio Emilia, Via Piccard no. 16/G, tel. +39/0522/301169, fax +39/0522/387996.

This is the Privacy Policy of this site and may be updated from time to time.
