Accordingly, this notice aims to provide users with clear and accurate information regarding the purposes and methods of their use.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Definition of Tracking Pixels<\/strong><\/p>\n Tracking pixels are very small images embedded in emails in the form of hyperlinks. When a recipient opens an email, code embedded in the message may automatically trigger a request to a server to download the image. This mechanism enables the sender to collect information, for example, about whether messages have been opened, deleted, forwarded or archived, as well as data relating to the recipient, such as their IP address and the type of device used.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tracking Pixels Used and Their Purposes<\/strong><\/p>\n The purposes for which our company may use tracking pixels are outlined below:<\/p>\n Such use is permitted only with the prior consent of email recipients. As expressly provided for by applicable legislation, this consent may be included in the broader consent to receive promotional communications, obtained before the email address is added to mailing lists, without prejudice to the exceptions provided for under the rules governing \u201csoft spam\u201d. As explained in greater detail below, consent may be withdrawn at any time, and recipients may choose either to stop receiving promotional communications or to continue receiving them without tracking pixels.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Data Collected Through Tracking Pixels<\/strong><\/p>\n Tracking pixels may enable our company to collect certain personal data relating to recipients, strictly connected with information about message openings, such as IP addresses, types of devices used, the time spent viewing messages and similar information.<\/p>\n Such data will be processed in full compliance with applicable legislation, limiting processing activities to what is strictly necessary to achieve the intended purposes, in accordance with the data minimisation principle established by the GDPR.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Email Settings to Prevent Tracking<\/strong><\/p>\n Recipients are reminded that tracking, regardless of the purpose of the communication, can only occur if image downloading is enabled. If users read emails exclusively in plain-text format, tracking pixels, like other images, are not downloaded and therefore cannot perform their tracking function.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Withdrawal or Granular Modification of Consent<\/strong><\/p>\n Email users\/recipients may withdraw or modify their consent at any time on a granular basis, specifically choosing whether to stop receiving communications altogether or to continue receiving them without tracking pixels.<\/p>\n In particular, users can easily manage their preferences through the dedicated links and buttons included in each email message received.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Legal Basis for Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n For the use of tracking pixels for statistical or security purposes and\/or for sending institutional or service communications, processing is necessary to optimise the services provided to users. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis may be the legitimate interests of the Data Controller and recipients, the performance of contractual or pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject and\/or compliance with legal obligations imposed on the Data Controller.<\/p>\n For the use of tracking pixels for promotional purposes, the legal basis is the consent voluntarily given by the user, which may be withdrawn and\/or modified at any time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Recipients or Categories of Recipients of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n Data may be disclosed to third parties only to comply with legal or contractual obligations, as well as to fulfil users\u2019 preferences and\/or any requests they may submit. Under no circumstances will the data be publicly disclosed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Persons Authorised to Process Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n Personal data will be processed exclusively by specifically appointed and authorised personnel.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rights of the Data Subject<\/strong><\/p>\n Users enjoy all the rights established by the European Regulation, including the right to request access to their personal data and its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability.
