A new completely automated line, with balancing and marking performed by an automated robot, has recently been installed. The balancing of rotating parts for a pump is one of the most important features for performance, noise reduction and above pump longevity. For this reason, Calpeda, right from the first pumps made over 50 years ago, has always considered this technical feature fundamental for all pumps types Industrial and domestic. The precision of the new balancing machine has improved the already considerable quality of the impellers and at the same time the new ergonomics of the balancing system has increased productivity.
To all this, a micro fine engraving machine has been integrated into the work station to engrave the code onto the impeller in order to guarantee traceability. Moreover a second twin engraver has been purchased to engrave small and medium series impellers.
