A case story that comes from Calpeda Iberica and involves the partnership between Calpeda and Hitachi, a large Japanese company with the most complete range of air conditioning products in today’s market.
In 1992, Hitachi opened a factory in Barcelona that was purposely thought about for this type of product. The company, HAPE (Hitachi Air Conditioning Products Europe), supplies the whole European market.
The important collaboration between Hitachi and Calpeda started in 2014 and it has strengthened during these weeks. Hitachi – a company that is strongly oriented on technology, innovation and ecological thinking – chose Calpeda to supply the pressure boosters used in large machines for water-cooled air conditioning systems.
The boosters are made with NM series close-coupled centrifugal pumps and include two options: one has an NM 40/16A pump and the other has two pumps of the same model, one duty and one stand by.
