Calpeda was invited to participate in ‘Trieste Next’, the European exhibition for innovation and scientific research which for three days transformed Trieste into a real live city of science. There were over 30 thousand visitors, many conferences and workshops all dedicated to applied research and new technology. “The presence of Calpeda at the exhibition of Trieste was not by chance” stated Calpeda’s research and development manager Renzo Lorenzi. “Given that in all our product development there exists a component of extreme innovation, we have decided to patent all our inventions”. The 2013 gathering of Trieste Next will carry the theme of water economy, closely linked to Expo 1015.
