This close-coupled pump range now includes new models with a Stub-Shaft. The NMS-NMS4 pumps feature the following characteristics:
NEW LANTERN BRACKET
The lantern brackets have been completely redesigned to allow for the coupling of B35 standard motors. The brackets are fitted with a thrust bearing housing and a patented single piece guard which shields the coupling.
SEPARATE CASING COVER
The casing cover is separated from the lantern bracket allowing a more flexible construction and easier maintenance. Two threaded holes provided in the casing cover make it simple to disassemble the casing cover and mechanical seal.
HYDRAULIC THRUST BEARING ON THE LANTERN BRACKET
The thrust bearing on the bracket bears the hydraulic thrust load from the pump avoiding additional loads on the motor, maintaining motor bearing life.
The hydraulic bearings are sized to improve pump reliability, whilst at the same time reducing the power absorption, maintaining high hydraulic efficiency.
The lantern bracket design ensures accurate alignment between rotating and fixed parts, reducing vibration. The hydraulic thrust bearing also ensures that correct alignment is maintained after maintenance operations.
All NMS-NMS4 models are available in cast iron and bronze construction providing a wide range of application options.
