K: I am working with Calpeda since 15 years, I started as a project
coordinator. Now I am sales & marketing director. I am still here because of
everyday challenging for the opportunity to meet people. I work very well with
the factory, there is a very good relationship. Our aim at the beginning was
to increase Calpeda market share in asia. We started to move to places :
Taiwan, Korea, China, India.
L : I joined Calpeda Asia Pac. in 2005, as accounts & administration manager.
CALPEDA IN ASIA
K : It is very tought in Asia. Our brand has 50 years and we sell Calpeda
pumps in Asia since 15 years. We have the quality, so we are different from
the others : Calpeda may be a little costly but it is ok.
L : We have a good team, our people, and a very good service and technical
support.
CHALLENGES
K : We would like to bring Calpeda image to an upper level. We are moving to
an “environmental” image : also in Asia people are talking
about renewable energies, solar, etc. Renewal energy is the next biggest and
certainly one of the most important future developments.
L : Singapore is the center of the Asia Pacific region. It is important to
share information with sister companies (about products, marketing, etc.).
This is the road to follow : to develop Asia Pacific as a whole region, to
move forward effectively and efficiently, so everybody can benefit.
